The air in Prayagraj is thick with devotion as the Maha Kumbh Mela, one of the world’s oldest and largest spiritual gatherings of faith and spirituality, has commenced with full fervour. Amidst the sea of saffron-clad devotees and chanting sadhus seeking spiritual purification at the sacred Triveni Sangam, an unexpected figure has emerged, capturing the attention of not just those present at the Mela but also the vast expanse of the internet. This year, it’s not a religious leader or a prominent figure who’s drawing the crowds, but a simple garland seller from Indore whose striking beauty has become the talk of the town.
This woman, whose name remains unknown, has sparked a wave of admiration and fascination with her dusky complexion, mesmerising amber eyes, sharp features and sculpted face. Social media is ablaze with images and videos of her, with many users drawing comparisons to one of the world’s iconic Mona Lisa.
In one such video going viral, we can see the woman surrounded by a lot of people. With traditional attire, some pearl necklace, minimal makeup and long braided hair that cascaded down her back, she looked breathtaking. The woman was carrying a bag and some pearl neckpieces that she was selling at the ghat.
Soon enough, the video went immensely viral, prompting a sea of reactions from viewers online. The internet community took to the comments section of the post and poured out their admiration for the garland seller’s stunning beauty. A majority of users filled the feed with heart emojis, while some left heartfelt comments calling her “beautiful” and “pretty.” A few users voiced concerns regarding the onlooker’s behaviour who followed her, eventually making her uncomfortable.

Another individual who has caught the Internet’s attention is Abhay Singh, a saint who claims to have an impressive educational background. Originating from Haryana, IITian Baba, or IIT Baba, has completed a degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay.
In an interview with News18, Abhay Singh found his true calling in spirituality after exploring various academic paths. He said, “You will keep searching for the meaning of life. I used to find that in engineering but never found my answers,” stating he also delved into philosophical concepts like postmodernism and the works of Socrates and Plato.
“If you have to understand the mind or mental health, then you can do it through spirituality. This stage is the best stage for me,” Singh added.
