A resident of Kerala’s Kasargod learned the hard way about the dangers of alcohol addiction. Despite the well-known adverse effects on health, many continue to consume alcohol. This individual, deeply addicted, experienced a severe and painful ordeal that may finally deter him from drinking.
The man lost consciousness due to intoxication and later awoke with a desperate need to urinate, accompanied by excruciating pain. To his horror, he discovered that someone had fastened a nut and bolt to his private part, but in his drunken state, he had no memory of who might have done this to him.
For two days, he struggled unsuccessfully to remove the object himself. Eventually, he sought medical help. Doctors attempted to remove the nut but were unable to do so. The situation became so dire that they had to call in local firemen for assistance.
The firemen arrived equipped with chisels and metal-cutting tools. After considerable effort, they managed to cut and remove the nut, using a metal-cutting machine and continuously cooling the area with water to prevent burns from the sparks. The man finally found relief once the nut was successfully removed.
