He said that if Bangladesh fails to protect its religious minorities, then it will tarnish the image of the country around the world and it will also harm the country.

Mohammad Yunus held a high -level meeting with security heads. In this meeting, he gave these orders while reviewing the status of law and order. He said that a command center or command headquarters would have to be set up to keep a close monitoring on the law and order situation, which will coordinate between all police and other security agencies.

The meeting included Home Affairs Advisor Jahangir Alam Chaudhary, Chief Advisor’s Special Assistant Khuda Bakhsh Chaudhary, Home Secretary Nasimul Gani and Police Chief, Border Guard Bangladesh, Rapid Action Battalion, Dhaka Metropolitan Police, Coast Guard and Head of Special Branch.
