
Metro Brand Limited: The promoters of Metro Brand Limited have purchased five luxury apartments in Lower Parel area of Mumbai. All these apartments have been purchased in Palace Royal. IndexTap.com said on the basis of necessary documents received, this deal has been done for Rs 405 crore.
Two flats purchased on 20 December 2024
In a report published earlier in Business Standard, it was told that earlier Zia Malik and Alisha Rafiq Malik had purchased apartments worth Rs 81-81 crore in Palace Royal. This deal was done on December 20, 2024. These include flat number 61 of South-East and flat number 61 of North East. Both the apartments are 7,687 square feet and 7,672 square feet respectively. Their prices per square feet are Rs 1,05,366 and Rs 1,05,579. These two properties also include five car parking.
The price of each flat is Rs 81 crore.
After this, on December 23, 2024, Farah Rafiq Bhajani bought a flat of 7,687 square feet in South West with five parking allotments. Its price per square foot is Rs 1,05,366. Then on December 24, Shabina Malik Hadi bought a flat of 7,672 square feet including five parking lots in North West at the rate of Rs 1,05,579 per square foot. All these flats were purchased for Rs 81-81 crore. Stamp duty of Rs 4.05 crore was also included in the purchase of each flat.
Promoters sold shares for Rs 749 crore
In September 2024, five promoters of Metro Brands Limited sold 2.19 percent stake in the company for Rs 749 crore through a block deal. According to bulk deal data on NSE, promoters Farah Malik Bhanji, Alisha Rafiq Malik, Zia Malik Lalji, Zarah Rafiq Malik and Sabina Malik Hadi sold 11.9 lakh shares at Rs 1,260 per share. As of June, Farah Malik Bhanji held 1.88 percent, while Alisha Rafiq Malik held 3.34 percent. Zia Malik Lalji, Zarah Rafiq Malik and Sabina Malik Hadi each held 1.46 per cent stake.
