A clip from inside a flight has gone viral and is drawing sharp criticism from viewers. The video shows a group of men casually turning the aircraft aisle into their game zone as they sit playing cards mid-flight. This has raised serious concerns about basic civic sense in shared public spaces.
In the video, shared on Instagram, four men can be seen sitting on the aisle seats. They placed a sheet over the aisle and turned it into a makeshift hammock-style platform to lay their playing cards on. It completely blocks the passage typically used by passengers and crew to move around or access the restrooms. But the men seemed unbothered as they focused on their game.
The caption read, “Gambling is not about how well you play the games; it’s really about how well you handle your money.”
Take a look at the viral video here:
Since it surfaced online, the video has accumulated over seven million views and received sharp reactions from viewers, many of whom are slamming the group for their behaviour.
One user commented, “How inconsiderate to other passengers. Zero civic sense. What if someone needs to use the restroom? This is so weird.”
Another said, “The biggest question is, was there nobody on the plane to shame these guys and make them stop? The crew are too polite but what about the other passengers?”
“Nothing to proud of… People with zero civic sense,” a person said.
“Compulsive gamblers, unfortunately this shows money can’t buy class,” read another remark.
An individual demanded, “How is this even allowed? They should be on the no fly list,” while someone else said, “There is something seriously wrong with you guys. No social sense whatsoever.”
Another video that made rounds online recently showed a group of people doing Garba at the Burj Khalifa’s viewing deck. The large group, mostly dressed in yellow T-shirts, included men, women and children. As the Bollywood song Chogada from Loveyatri played, they suddenly broke into a dance. Many viewers criticised their actions and called it a clear lack of civic sense. People said such behaviour in public spaces is disruptive and shows no regard for others.
