Some men laughed at the climax scene of the Chhaava film at a theatre in Navi Mumbai and were forced to apologise by the crowd.

A video has surfaced on social media showing five men being forced to apologise in a Navi Mumbai theatre for laughing and joking during the climax scene of the ‘Chhaava’ film screening.
The incident took place at the Balaji Movieplex theatre in the Kopar Khairane area of the city.
The men were accused of laughing during the climax scene of the movie that showed painful torture to the great Maratha ruler Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj by Mughal emperor Aurangzeb.
The viral video showed the men, who laughed and joked at the scene, being forced to kneel down and apologise for disrespecting the sacrifice of the Maratha ruler.

One of the five men was seen saying, “mi Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj chi maafi maagto”, however, the crowd corrected him and asked him to apologise to Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj.
He then apologised in Hindi and said, “while the film Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj was playing, we were laughing at it”.
“Ye Toh Hamari Karmabhoomi Hai, Kaise Bhulenge,” The Man Added.
They were then asked to leave the theatre.
