Nishikant Dubey’s reaction
BJP MP Nishikant Dubey, who heads the IT parliamentary panel. He described Meta India’s apology as a victory for the common citizens of India. He said that this apology is a confirmation of the public’s trust in the Indian Parliament and government. Dubey further said that in future social media platforms will be summoned on other matters also.
Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav’s reaction
Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav also termed Mark Zuckerberg’s comment as wrong and said that the people of India should not forget the Prime Minister. Narendra Modi Vaishnav presented the fact that Zuckerberg’s claim was wrong and the citizens of India have maintained faith in the current government even after the pandemic.
