It is believed that the moon of Eid can be seen on this day. If the moon is seen on this day, then Eid will be celebrated on 30 March.

Eid-ul-Fitr holiday

Various governments around the world have announced special holidays on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, so that people can enjoy this holy festival with their families.

Saudi Arabia has declared an official holiday of four days from March 30 to April 2. Work will start again from April 3. If it is linked to the weekly holiday of Friday-Saturday, private sector employees can avail a total of six days of leave.

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has confirmed a three -day holiday from Shawwal 1 to 3. If Ramadan lasts for 30 days, an additional holiday will also be given.

Kuwait has arranged flexible holidays-Eid falls on March 30, then there will be a three-day holiday, while if Eid is celebrated on 31 March, a total of nine days will be given.

Other Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries including Qatar and Bahrain have also announced holidays for three to six days.

Eid-ul-Fitr has special importance

Eid-ul-Fitr has special significance in the religion of Islam. Fasting is kept in the holy month of Ramadan. Usually this month is 30 days, which starts and ends with the moon of the moon.
