A father in Delhi is facing backlash for allowing his son to urinate on the railway tracks at Inderlok Metro Station. The incident, captured on camera, has sparked widespread criticism on social media, with many labelling the father’s behaviour as “highly uncivilised”.
The video shows the boy urinating on the tracks while his father stands nearby. The individual filming labels them “shameless” for acting in such a manner in a public space.
He says, “inh koi sharam nahi aa rahi. Public space mein, inderlok metro station pe, ye apne bachche ko susu karwa karwa rahe hain (they have no shame. Inderlok Metro Station). ” Then, he pans the camera to show the name of the station on the screen.
Meanwhile, the father is approached by another man, presumably a Delhi Metro staff member, who questions him about his son’s behaviour. The father appeared to mumble something before walking away with his son. The person behind the camera continues filming, calling them “the most uncivilised people of India.” The video is shared on X.
Toilets are dirty in the train and at the railway station, it is understood that you cannot use, but there are toilets at the metro station, they are also clean. Then why man? 😥 pic.twitter.com/clAU7X9Icr

The video prompted outrage from netizens who demanded penalties for such behaviour. One user said, “The person had no answer as he knew this is a wrong act still encouraging his son. Prime example of bad parenting.”
Another added, “These same people will blame govt and country for not keeping clean.”
“Toilets in trains and at railway stations are dirty, it’s understandable that you can’t use them, but at metro stations, there are toilets, and they’re clean too. So why, man?” read a comment.
A viewer remarked, “Everyone wants order, but the mentality of not wanting to do anything ourselves—change this mentality, and your own transformation will be visible.”
“It is people like these who spread filth in society. Blaming the government for everything is wrong; for all this, humans themselves need to improve,” wrote a user.
“They are also blaming the government for no toilet, DMRC Should panelize him for this act with big FINE more than to his imagination,” said another.
