A man reportedly overdosed on drugs and was declared dead in an ambulance when his heart stopped. However, he revived three minutes later fighting all odds, shocking medical professionals

Most people aspire to lead virtuous lives, at times engaging earnestly in religious practices with the hope of attaining paradise after death. Conversely, it is said that some will face the consequences of their actions in hell.
However, there have been accounts of individuals who have died, returned to life, and shared their experiences of the afterlife.
In a similar vein, a Reddit user shared a shocking revelation about a friend who claimed to have “died for three minutes and come back to life”. This individual presented a sensational claim based on a conversation with their friend, who purportedly briefly died and returned possessing astonishing knowledge. The user also claimed that his friend underwent a complete transformation after the incident, devoting their life to righteous actions.
On Reddit, the man’s friend recounted his near-death experience. The man, having overdosed on drugs, was being transported to the hospital when he was declared medically dead in the ambulance. His friend stated that his heart had stopped, and medical professionals deemed recovery improbable. However, after three minutes, he revived, astonishing the doctors.

Recounting their friend’s claims on Reddit, the individual stated, “He remembers the stroke incident, and being taken to the ambulance on a stretcher. After this, his heartbeat ceased. The doctors told him that he had died. But he woke up after 3 minutes. The doctors were taken aback, as his heart had stopped for a significant period.”
Sharing the experience of those three minutes, the man described to his friend the sensation of being submerged in ice-cold water, enveloped by darkness. He felt no emotions, only the awareness of his presence in that cold, sightless abyss. While gradually recovering in hospital, the man couldn’t shake the feeling that he had experienced hell.
“However, in the ensuing days, he became convinced that what he had experienced was indeed hell. He interpreted it as a warning to change his life,” the friend further elaborated.
The post elicited a flurry of comments. One user remarked, “Wow! This reminded me of a dream my mother had. She told me about it in my childhood and said that when she woke up, she saw flames rising in the room and people screaming. Then she blinked, and it vanished. She was convinced that this was a sign that she was going to hell. From then on, she started doing more good deeds. She is a truly good person.”
Another user responded, “This is precisely what hell is like. You are alone in the dark, consumed by the feeling of eternal solitude. No fire, no demons torturing you. Just – endless darkness and the feeling of utter isolation.”
