A man claiming to have travelled to the future has sparked intrigue online with his predictions about the year 2025. The self-proclaimed time traveller, Elvis Thompson (@elvis.thompson.927), shared a video on Instagram on January 1 outlining five specific dates in 2025 when he believes catastrophic events will occur.
In the video, Thompson predicted that on April 6, a tornado measuring 24 kilometres wide with wind speeds of 1046 kilometres per hour will devastate Oklahoma, America. He further claimed that on May 27, a second American civil war will erupt, leading to the secession of Texas and sparking a global conflict involving nuclear weapons, ultimately leaving America in ruins.
Thompson’s predictions take an extraterrestrial turn as he foretold the arrival of an alien named Champion on September 1. Champion, he claims, will transport 12,000 humans to another inhabited planet for their safety. He also warned of hostile aliens with intentions to harm Earth.

Further into the future, Thompson predicted a massive storm will batter the east coast of America on September 19. Finally, he claimed that on November 3, a colossal sea creature, six times larger than a blue whale and named Serene Crown, will be discovered in the Pacific Ocean.
Thompson’s video has rapidly gone viral, amassing over 20 million views and numerous comments. Some viewers have expressed scepticism, with one user humorously commenting that Thompson should have obtained next week’s lottery numbers while in the future. Another commenter stated they are saving the video and will take legal action against Thompson if his predictions prove false.
It should be noted that News18 does not endorse the validity of Elvis Thompson’s claims.
