Los Angeles Fire: 16 people have been confirmed dead in the Los Angeles wildfire that started last week, while more than 12,000 buildings have been damaged.
A warning has been issued that the situation will worsen due to the massive fire in the forests of Los Angeles, America’s most populous county. Schools have been closed due to fire. Along with this, many programs to be organized in the city have been cancelled.

- Los Angeles Unified School District, the second largest public school district in the United States, closed schools on Thursday and Friday to protect students and staff from hazardous air quality. Superintendent Alberto Carvalho said the risk at the school is high. This can be harmful for children suffering from respiratory problems.
- “We had to evacuate the area, so our lives have been disrupted,” Pacific Palisades resident Kenneth told Xinhua. The entire city is at a standstill, but at least we are still alive.”
- Currently, six wildfires are still burning in Los Angeles County, burning approximately 36,000 acres of land. This fire has so far burned more than 21,300 acres of land in the Palisades area and damaged more than 5,300 buildings.
- East of Los Angeles, fires have affected schools and homes in Eaton Canyon and Highland Park. Damage was reported to parts of two elementary schools and Palisades Charter High School. The Eaton fire destroyed approximately 14,000 acres of land and caused extensive damage to more than 5,000 buildings.
