In a now-deleted video, YouTuber Landon Nickerson responded to the backlash he is facing for allegedly cheating on four-month pregnant fiancée, social media personality Wizard Liz. He said that the incident was “blown out of proportion” but admitted texting another woman but highlighted that those interactions were brief and “emotionally insignificant”.
“It was 5–10 minutes of my life texting somebody that I don’t give a fuck about, throwing, jeopardizing everything that I have. That is just ridiculous,” Landon Nickerson said in the deleted video. It is still unclear why he deleted the video.
“I’m not going to sit here and deny that I fucked up. But it was a few minutes of texting. That’s it. I acknowledge that it was wrong, but I also want people to understand that humans make mistakes,” Nickerson said, acknowledging his mistake while asking people to keep perspective.
Before posting the now-deleted video, Nickerson also shared an Instagram Story featuring a photo with his fiancée, Wizard Liz, in what appeared to be an attempt to show unity amid the controversy.
