Karthik Aryan was going to Pakistani event? Cleaning after FWICE warning

There were reports about Bollywood actor Karthik Aryan that he is going to attend the Pakistani event ‘Azadi Utsav’ as Chief Guest. In such a situation, the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) wrote a letter to the actor and warned that he should not be a part of this event. Now Karthik Aryan has given clarification on this matter and has told that he has no plan to attend any such event.

Karthik Aryan’s team has released an official statement in which it is written- ‘Karthik Aryan is not associated with this event in any way. He has never made any official announcement to participate in this event. We have contacted the organizers and have requested to remove all promotional posters with their names and pictures.

FWICE warned
FWICE had earlier warned Karthik Aryan by writing a letter. It was written- ‘Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) with deep concern and responsibility to your attention on 15 August 2025, freedom celebrations in Houston, America – Indian Independence Day brings a case related to your participation in an event called Independence Day. According to the attached poster, you are being shown as the Chief Guest of this event.

‘This special event is a Pakistani restaurant …’
It was further written in the letter- ‘Even though such events are a source of pride and cultural expression for Indians living abroad. But we are regretting you that this special event is hosting a Pakistani restaurant, restaurant and catering, which is owned by Mr. Shaukat Maradia. We believe that you will not have complete information about the background of the organizer. If this is the case then we appeal to you to withdraw our participation from this event immediately.

It was finally written in the letter- ‘But if you were aware of it, then it is a matter of more worry and we want cleanliness. Along with this, we expect to keep distance from such organizations immediately.

Karthik Aryan’s workfront
Karthik Aryan was last seen in the film ‘Bhool Bhulaiya 3’ on the workfront. Now he will be seen in a romantic film released on Diwali. In this film, South actress Srilila will be in the lead role with her. Apart from this, Karthik has the film ‘Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri’ with Ananya Pandey which will be released on February 13, 2026.
