A man was munching on Haldiram’s Punjabi Tadka while watching a video on YouTube when he felt a “cold and stingy” sensation on his tongue. He immediately took it out only to find a tiny piece of glass that had caused a minor injury to his tongue. The man shared his experience on Reddit and has since filed a complaint with the company.
“Found this inside Haldiram Punjabi Tadka packet (Literally),” the man wrote while sharing a picture of the glass shard, along with an image of the packet.
The man, who goes by “@Krrish_069″ on Reddit, further said that he wasn’t sure about the authenticity of the product but had still filed a complaint with all the necessary details so that the company can do an inspection and track where it has been distributed.

He wrote, “I’m kinda confused because of the grammatical error printed on it. But, at the same time, it looks pretty legit to me. Anyway, I have submitted a complaint to them. Honestly saying I don’t have any hope regarding this. But people should be 100 per cent aware of things like these.”
Take a look at the glass shard here:
In response to the post, many suggested that the man should file a complaint against it, which he eventually did. An individual claimed that he also found a glass shard in a packet of snacks: “I had a similar experience a few months ago.”
“10 per cent extra! Seriously though, mail them with photos. There is a customer service email on most packed foods. I’ve had generally a good experience with companies responding. Usually, they send replacements,” shared yet another.
A third commented, “You should file a report on the consumer forum.”
Some even added humour to the situation.
One user humorously stated, “Looks like that’s the 10% extra.”
“That’s the crunch,” joked another.
A third wrote, “From microplastic to macroplastic, 10 per cent extra big.”
A few were even curious about what would happen next – whether the man would be offered a large sum of money or just a single packet as compensation.
