Jasprit Bumrah to play fourth Test against England: Mohammed Siraj

Pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah will feature in the fourth Test against England, fellow India pacer Mohammed Siraj confirmed during a press conference on Monday.

Jassi bhai toh khelenge hi (Bumrah will definitely play),” he said at Old Trafford.

With a host of injuries plaguing the Indian team presently, the news would have come as a whiff of fresh air. On Sunday, Nitish Kumar Reddy was ruled out of the Test series with a knee injury. Meanwhile, Arshdeep Singh, Rishabh Pant, and Akash Deep are also struggling with niggles of their own.

The uncapped Anshul Kamboj has also been asked to join the squad in Manchester.

The fourth Test between India and England starts Wednesday.
