Israel Block humanitarian aid to Gaza: Israel on Sunday (March 2, 2025) announced that it was prohibiting the supply of all the goods in the Gaza Strip. A statement was issued in this regard by issuing a statement from PM Benjamin Netanyahu. Earlier, Israel said that it supports the proposal to extend the first phase of the ceasefire by April 20. He said that the proposal came from the middle of the Trump administration by Steve Vitkoff. According to the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Hamas will release half the hostages on the first day and will release the remaining when a permanent ceasefire is compromised.

What did Hamas officials say?

According to media reports, a Hamas official said that the only way to achieve stability is to complete the second phase of the ceasefire process, in which Israel is permanently to move from Gaza and end enmity. Mahmud Mardavi said, “The only way to achieve stability in the area and ensure the return of prisoners is to fully implement the agreement by starting from the second stage.”

Negotiations on the second phase

The first phase of Israel-Hamas ceasefire ended on Saturday (1 March 2025). There is yet to be a negotiating between the two sides on the second phase, including Israeli to completely withdraw from Gaza, apply permanent ceasefire and release Hamas to the remaining hostages.

Hamas carried out a big attack on Israel
