Santa is associated with happiness, generosity, and kindness; he represents the spirit of giving during the holiday season. Recently, a US-based tech company, in a spectacular display of attraction, captivated viewers as they lit up the sky with drones taking the shape of a giant Santa Claus.
Taking to Instagram, Sky Elements posted a video of one of the largest drone shows, involving 5,000 UAVs over a field in Mansfield, Texas, ahead of Christmas. The video, which has taken the Internet by storm, depicted technicians’ dedication as they set up the drones outdoors in Dallas. The alignment formed a spectacular display of Santa, clad in his red uniform, riding his sleigh pulled by two giant reindeers against the night sky.
As the clip moves forward, we see the iconic figure waving at the audience with a sleigh filled with gifts for boys and girls. “5,000 Drone Santa,” the video caption reads.
The Christmas-themed video was uploaded on Instagram on December 6 and has gathered 99.6 million views since then. The clip immediately captured the audience’s attention, prompting several to share their reactions. An Instagram user wrote, “This is an inspiring thing.” Another one wrote, “Imagine looking out your window and seeing this?” One of them commented, “Amazing.”
A person wrote, “Wow, so Beautiful.” One user requested, “Could you please do a Nativity Scene with Angels?” The praise continued with users saying, “This is incredible,” and “Amazing, So lovely.”
For this spectacular drone show, the company teamed with UVify to bring the iconic Mythical feature to life. With this, Sky Elements has broken their own record of flying 2,500 drones during a show at the Northern Hemisphere, which was set a few weeks earlier and earned them their 11th Guinness World Record.
