
Israel Hezbollah War: Israel has confirmed the death of Hashem Saffieddin, the successor of Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah. The Israeli Army has revealed this 19 days after the death of Hashem Safieddin.
The Israeli military said in its statement that on October 4, Hashem Saffieddin was killed along with Hezbollah’s intelligence chief Hussein Ali Hazima. Hashem Saffieddin was considered the successor of Nasrallah. Apart from this, he was the head of the Executive Council of Hezbollah.
Was out of contact since October 4
The Israeli army said that on October 4, the army attacked Hezbollah’s underground intelligence headquarters located in Dahiya, Lebanon. During this time, a total of 25 people including Hashem Safidin were present in the headquarters. Hashem Saffieddin was out of contact since this attack. However, the IDF has confirmed his death today. Hezbollah has not yet confirmed the death of Hashem Saffieddin. Hashem Saffieddin was Nasrallah’s cousin. The US State Department had declared Hashem Saffieddin a terrorist in 2017.

In a statement shared on social media, the IDF said, “Hashem Saffieddin, head of the Hezbollah Executive Council, and Ali Hussein Hajima, commander of Hezbollah’s intelligence headquarters, were killed during an attack on Hezbollah’s main intelligence headquarters in Dahiyah approximately 3 weeks ago Hashem was a member of the Shura Council, which is responsible for making decisions in the terrorist organization. He was the cousin of Hezbollah’s former leader. Used to take big decisions.
He further said in his statement, “Along with Hashem, the commander of Hezbollah’s intelligence headquarters and terrorist Ali Hussein Hajima has also been killed. He has also planned several attacks against IDF soldiers.
