IPL 2025 Playoffs: Overseas Players Who’ll Be Absent for Punjab, RCB, Mumbai & Gujarat

The IPL 2025 Playoffs start Thursday, with Punjab Kings facing Royal Challengers Bengaluru in Qualifier 1.

On Friday, Mumbai Indians play Gujarat Titans in the Eliminator.

However, all four teams face a setback: several overseas players are leaving for international duties.

England’s limited-overs series against West Indies has drawn away players like Jos Buttler.

South Africa’s World Test Championship final against Australia has made players like Kagiso Rabada unavailable.

Here’s a list of the overseas players missing the Playoffs due to international commitments:

Mumbai Indians

  • Will Jacks (ENG)

  • Corbin Bosch (Sat)

  • Ryan Rickelton (at)

Punjab Kings

Royal Challengers Bengaluru
