Dubai is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world. So, what is the first thing that comes to your mind when we talk about the Gulf nation? It’s easy —- Burj Khalifa. It is the tallest building in the world and offers a stunning view of the city. Recently, a video from the Burj Khalifa’s viewing deck has gained widespread attention online.

It featured a group of tourists dancing their heart out to a hit Bollywood song. The video, shared on Instagram, opens to the beautiful surroundings outside Burj Khalifa. You can see the view from the top and how high up the deck is. Then, the camera turns towards a large group of people. The group includes men, women and even children. Most of them are wearing yellow T-shirts.

As soon as the Bollywood song, Chogada, from the film Loveyatri plays in the background, the group breaks into a garba.

The caption attached to the clip read, “A viral video shows tourists dancing to the Chogada song on top of the iconic Burj Khalifa! Would you dance there with your gang.”

Take a look at the video here:

Since being shared online, the video has accumulated more than four lakh views. In the comments section, many expressed their frustration and disapproval of the group’s actions.

A user commented, “Why is this glorified? We must learn to respect the sanctity of public places.”

Another said, “Nope. As a Gujarati, this is embarrassing. I understand you’re excited and happy and want to celebrate but flipping garba anywhere is not. Even Gujjus in India don’t break into garba at any random place.!”

“It’s not proper etiquette to do this in public areas, as other people might get disturbed. We have to respect that,” someone else pointed out.

A frustrated viewer added, “Not cute, not funny. It’s a nuisance. Please stop.”

Other sharp remarks included “International bezzati,” “Common sense is not common these days,” “Civic sense?? RIP” and “Perfect example of ‘Money can’t buy class’.”

The Burj Khalifa was officially inaugurated in 2010. It stands at a height of 828 metres (2,717 feet), which makes it the tallest building in the world. This iconic structure is not just a skyscraper but also a great example of modern design and engineering.
