
Indigo Q3 Results: Indigo Airlines’ parent company Inter Globe Aviation Company has declared the results for the third quarter of the financial year 2024-25. The company’s net profit in the December quarter stood at Rs 2,448.8 crore, which shows a decline of 18.32 percent year-on-year. In the same quarter last year, the company had made a profit of Rs 2,998.1 crore.
Company’s performance was good in the second quarter of the year
The company had suffered a loss of Rs 986.7 crore in the second quarter of the financial year 2025, whereas in the same quarter a year ago, consolidated revenue from operations of IndiGo increased by 13.7 percent on an annual basis to Rs 22,110.7 crore. IndiGo CEO Peter Elbers said about this, our performance was good both operationally and financially in the second quarter of the financial year 2025. Our total income was Rs 230 billion, which shows 15 percent growth. Excluding the impact of monetary movement, we made a profit of Rs 38.5 billion. Whereas including currency impact, our profit was Rs 24.5 billion.
Indio achieved new milestone
Albers further said, these results show our increasing demand and our ability to meet it. However, reduced fuel prices also helped in this. During this period, we achieved a new achievement by flying 2,200 flights every day and serving a record 31.1 million passengers. We will continue to move forward in giving customers the option to fly to the destination of their choice.
The company earned so much from tickets
Overall, this low-cost airline earned a net profit of Rs 2,448.8 crore in the October to December quarter as against Rs 2,998.1 crore. Whereas the airline’s revenue from flight operations increased by 13.7 percent on annual basis to Rs 22,110.7 crore. Indigo said that its total income for the quarter ending December 2024 was Rs 22,992.8 crore, which is 14.6 percent more than the same quarter last year. During this period, the company earned Rs 19,267.8 crore from tickets, which is 12.3 percent more than last year.
