Indian YouTuber Malik SD Khan, aka Malik Swashbuckler, sparked controversy with derogatory comments on Turkish women, leading to his alleged detention by Turkish police.

A massive controversy has flared up over an Indian blogger’s outrageous comments on a Turkish women. This comes at a time when India and Turkish ties have hit a rock bottom over its support to Pakistan.
Some unconfirmed reports suggest that the YouTuber, identified as Malik SD Khan aka Malik Swashbuckler, has allegedly been taken into police custody in Turkey. Khan drew sharp reactions, including alleged action by police, for a series of videos where he makes sexually-coloured remarks on women of Turkish ethnicity. Though the Indian blogger taken down his YouTube and Instagram accounts amid the row, his videos are still circulating online.
All About Malik Swashbuckler Controversy
In the videos shared by Malik, he was heard making derogatory comments on Turkish women. Further, he used Hindi language in the video so his targets would not get what he was saying.
However, things turned upside down when Turkish netizens flagged the videos, leading to outrage against the Indian YouTuber.
Swashbuckler Spoke in Hindi To Avoid Getting Caught
In his videos, the Indian blogger was heard using foul language several times. He did not even shy away from objectifying Turkish women. For example, in one of the clips, he was referring to a Turkish woman as “maal” or “item”.
In another clip, he was seen going inside a Turkish store and asking why they did not have an Indian flag on display. Here also, Malik was seen using odd language while interacting with the shopkeeper.
In one of the videos, he even crossed the limit as he mentioned rape. Malik, while speaking in Hindi, reportedly asked viewers if he should rape his Turkish guide at night.
According to a report in Turkiye Today, Turkish police detained Malik for posting offensive videos last week. So far cops have not released an official statement on the issue.
