Diplomatic tussle on the stage of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) has intensified. Azerbaijan has alleged that India has stopped its full membership application. This allegation has come up at a time when Azerbaijan is considered to be the closest ally of Pakistan and has been seen standing with him on anti -India issues many times. However, no official response has been given by India to this claim so far.
Azerbaijan attended the ongoing SCO summit in Tianjin city of China as a dialogue partner. Azerbaijani Media News.AZ report said that China repeated support in favor of this application, but India opposed it. In the report, India’s attitude was stated against the Shanghai spirit and it was alleged that India’s decision was closely related to Azerbaijan’s Pakistan.
Pakistan takes a big step
Meanwhile, Pakistan has also intensified its diplomatic steps. Pakistani Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar recently interacted with Armenia Foreign Minister Arrat Mirzoyan and the two countries agreed to establish a mutual diplomatic relationship. This step has been taken at a time when there has been a peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia in the arbitration of America recently.
Pakistan is trying to improve relationship with Armenia
The thing to note is that Pakistan has been opposing Armenia for a long time and has been standing in support of Azerbaijan. But now Pakistan is trying to improve the relationship with Armenia. Azerbaijani media claims that this initiative has taken place only after talks with the country.
