‘India does not even buy a sack of maize from America’, Trump’s minister Howard Lutnik’s statement

US Commerce Minister Howard Lutnik has severely criticized India’s trade policies on Sunday (September 14, 2025). He said that New Delhi takes advantage of global commerce, but it limits access to the market of India.

They put a tariff of everything. So either you accept it, otherwise it will be difficult for you to do business with the world’s biggest consumer.
