IND vs PAK head-to-head record in T20Is: India vs Pakistan win-loss record, most runs, most wickets


India will be looking to continue its winning momentum when it faces Pakistan at Dubai on Sunday, September 14 in Group A of the Asia Cup 2025.

India made a positive start as it looks to reclaim the T20 iteration of the Asia Cup, comfortably defeating UAE by nine wickets in its tournament opener.

Pakistan also began with a win, easing past Oman by 93 runs.

India vs Pakistan T20I head-to-head record:

India has a significant advantage in the head-to-head record with Pakistan. The two sides have met 13 times since 2007, with India coming out on top in ten of these meetings. This includes nine outright wins, and one win by a bowl-out. Pakistan, meanwhile, has won thrice.

The last meeting between the two sides in T20Is came at the 2024 T20 World Cup, where India came out on top by six runs in a low-scoring thriller.

Most runs in India vs Pakistan T20Is:

Virat Kohli is comfortably the highest run-scorer in T20Is between India and Pakistan. Kohli has scored 492 runs in 11 innings against Pakistan at an average of 70.28. His highest score is his iconic unbeaten 82 scored at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) during the 2022 T20 World Cup.

This leaves Kohli comfortably clear of Muhammed Rizwan in second position, who has scored 228 runs at an average of 57 in five innings.

Most wickets in India vs Pakistan T20Is:

Hardik Pandya is the leading wicket-taker in T20Is between India and Pakistan, having taken 13 wickets at an average of 12 and an economy of 7.25.  Pandya’s best bowling figures of 3-8 came during the Asia Cup 2016, the first iteration of the tournament in a T20I format.

Pandya’s 13 wickets leave him just clear of Umar Gul and Bhuvaneshwar Kumar in second position. Both bowlers have taken 11 wickets, Gul at an average of 16.18 and economy of 8.27, and Kumar at an average of 17.18 and economy of 7.26.
