Princess Aisha bint Faisal of Jordan has tied the knot with Kareem Yazeed Al Mufti. Their wedding ceremony took place at the historic Zahran Palace in Amman on May 12. Several delegates and members of the Hashemite royal family, including King Abdullah II and Crown Prince Hussein, graced the royal event, as reported by Town & Country magazine. Princess Aisha bint Faisal was born to Prince Faisal bin Hussein and Princess Alia Tabbaa on March 27, 1997. Aisha, the niece of King Abdullah II, has two sisters, Princess Ayah and Princess Sara, and a brother, Prince Omar.

Ayah, who also attended the marriage, shared some glimpses of the event on Instagram. For her special day, Aisha picked out an all-white lace-embroidered gown by designer Phillipa Lepley, which she paired with a netted veil. She rounded off her look with diamond earrings and a tiara, exuding sophistication and royalty.

One of the pictures in Ayah’s post showed the bride walking into the wedding venue, accompanied by his father, Faisal bin Hussein. Meanwhile, Kareem Yazeed Al Mufti, a close associate of the Jordanian royal family, dressed up in black suits over a white shirt. He exchanged rings with Aisha as part of the rituals.

A picture featuring the beautiful moment was shared by Princess Ayah, who congratulated the newlywed couple, saying, “It is with great joy that I extend my heartfelt congratulations to my beloved sister, HRH Princess Aisha bint Faisal, on the occasion of her marriage to Mr. Kareem Al-Mufti.”

“May God bless their union, unite them in harmony and grace, and grant them a life filled with love and enduring happiness,” she added.

Aisha took early education at the Amman Baccalaureate School before pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Criminology and a Master of Laws (LLM) in Religion, Law, and Society from the University of Westminster in the UK.

Kareem Al Mufti, on the other hand, was a schoolmate of Crown Prince Hussein at King’s Academy in Madaba-Manja. The duo also completed higher education together at Georgetown University in Washington, DC.

Zahran Palace, where the wedding was hosted, used to be the residence of Queen Mother Zein Al Sharaf, grandmother of King Abdullah II. Opened in the 1950s, the palace has now become a regular venue for royal events. The weddings of King Abdullah II and Queen Rania in 1993, and Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa in 2023, also took place here.
