
IIT Abu Dhabi under the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) has started the admission process for the second batch of undergraduate courses for the academic year 2025-26. Interested and eligible students can apply by visiting the official website of Abu Dhabi IIT (abudhabi.iitd.ac.in). IIT Delhi – Abu Dhabi has offered three new Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) programs for the upcoming academic year starting August 2025, which will provide students with cutting-edge technical education.
Three new four-year Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) courses have been started in IIT Abu Dhabi. These include Computer Science and Engineering, Energy Science Engineering and Chemical Engineering. Admission to these three courses will be based on the merit of JEE Advanced and CAET (Combined Admission Entrance Test) 2025.
Admission will be possible through this entrance
Admission to the four-year Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) programs at IIT Abu Dhabi will be through JEE (Advanced) 2025 and CAET (Joint Entrance Examination) 2025. CAET 2025 will be conducted in two sessions, the first session will be held on 16 February 2025 and the second session will be held on 13 April 2025. In the final selection, the higher score from both the sessions will be considered.
The paper pattern will be like this
CAET 2025 will be a 3-hour pen and paper-based exam, which will be conducted in English. There will be a total of 60 questions in this examination, which will be equally distributed among the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The examination centers of CAET 2025 will be in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah of UAE as well as New Delhi of India. If necessary, additional examination centers can also be set up in different cities and countries for Session 2.
Seat allocation will be done in this way
As per the seat allocation process, one-third of the total seats will be allotted through JEE (Advanced) 2025 and two-third through CAET 2025. Seats under CAET 2025 will be open exclusively to UAE nationals and international students, including Indian expatriates, who have completed their high school and the last five years of education in the UAE.
