When did you give your first attempt?
Rishi Kumar, resident of Jharkhand, has done his graduation in Electronics and Communication. After working in the private sector for a few days, he made up his mind to become a civil service officer. He tells that he gave his first attempt in the year 2015. He also left his job the same year. This year the preparation was not good due to which even the preliminary examination could not be cracked.
Don’t make these mistakes even by mistake
Gave second attempt in 2016. This time the thought of finishing the syllabus as soon as possible was in mind. Took help from many sources for preparation. Also joined test series during preparation. During this time also joined coaching. But still the exam was not passed. In order to get a job as soon as possible, I did not study in depth. Took help from a large number of sources, which was a big mistake. He advises candidates to study from limited sources. Keep special focus on revision. You should analyze your test paper, which he had not done before the third attempt, due to which he got disappointed the third time also.

Rishi Kumar says that he had made up his mind that he would not rest until he cracked this exam. His father motivated him a lot. During this period, there was a lot of support from the family. The fifth attempt was given in the year 2019. He tells that when he left home to take the exam, he had made up his mind that this time he had to crack the exam. After which he got success in prelims, mains and interview.
