Which children will benefit?
This new scheme of the Uttar Pradesh government is being started for thousands of students living in remote areas like Bundelkhand and Sonbhadra. This scheme has been implemented in seven districts of Bundelkhand and Sonbhadra. The names of these districts are Jhansi, Chitrakoot, Jalaun, Hamirpur, Mahoba, Banda, Sonbhadra. The benefit of the scheme will be given to those students who are studying from 9th to 12th standard and any government school is at least 5 kilometers from their home. At the same time, the benefit of this scheme will also be given to the students of 146 government schools selected under the Prime Minister Shri Scheme. This will make it easier for the daughters of the villages to reach the school and they will be able to continue their studies without interruption.
How will this scheme benefit?
To get the benefits of this scheme, students have to fill a form. It has to be written in this form that there is no government school within 5 kilometers of his house. This form will be verified by this form, the head of the village and the school principal. After this, the head and the principal form of the school in the village will check and certify. Later, city councilors will verify this information. With this, as soon as the form is confirmed, the money will be transferred to the students’ account. But the benefit of the scheme will be available only when the students will be present regularly in the school and students will have to increase at least 10 percent attendance compared to last year.
