Aman Gupta, also dubbed the king of D2C, has been winning hearts since his reality TV stint as a Shark Tank India judge. While his entrepreneurial journey and professional achievements are known to all, the boAt founder has opened up about his personal life, revealing how he missed out on a lot in his daughter’s life. Aman recently appeared on Prakhar Pravachan’s podcast and spoke at length about his journey, fatherhood, and much more.
Speaking about his part as a father, he revealed missing out on many important events in his daughter’s life. “I know I have missed out on many things in my daughter’s life. If I look back now, I realise how many events I have missed. However, I am very much okay with it and I don’t regret it at all. Had I not missed out on those occasions, my life would have been much different,” he shared. Aman also shared how he had worked very hard throughout his entire life, stating that it is the only reason for his present success.
“I must have missed out on many things in life, but that is what it takes to reach such a level,” he continued.
Aman Gupta is married to Piya Dagar, and the couple shares two daughters, Adaa and Miraya. Aman’s social media posts with his daughters display a different side of him as a doting father and a supportive and caring husband.
In one of his viral videos, Aman was seen dancing with his daughter to the song, My Money Don’t Jiggle Jiggle. Standing against the mountains, Aman was dressed in track pants with a green jacket, while his daughter looked adorable in a pink and white outfit. “When Adaa wants you to do something that’s trending, I can’t say no anyway to her…” he captioned the video.
Born and raised in Delhi, Aman Gupta is a chartered accountant by profession; however, his dreams of becoming an entrepreneur led him to start a successful company like boAt.
