‘I called them and said- Listen no more trade’, Trump claims on India-Pakistan tension


On Tuesday (July 22, 2025), US President Donald Trump claimed that five aircraft were demolished during a military confrontation between India and Pakistan and they stopped the war. Trump also claimed that the conflict between India and Pakistan could have turned into a nuclear war.

He said at an event organized in the White House (official residence and office of the President of America), “We stopped the war between India and Pakistan and the Congo Republic and Rwanda.”

Referring to the military confrontation between India and Pakistan, Trump said, ‘He killed five aircraft … I called them and said,’ Listen, no more business. If you do this, then it will not be good for you… both of them are powerful nuclear -rich countries and who knows what the result would have been. I stopped it.

US President Donald Trump claimed that the US destroyed Iran’s entire nuclear capacity and also stopped a conflict between Kosovo and Serbia. Trump has claimed several times that he has stopped the military conflict between India and Pakistan through trade. He had said for the first time on Friday that five aircraft were killed during the fight.

Meanwhile, America’s top diplomat at the United Nations also said on Tuesday that the Trump administration helped reduce tension between India and Pakistan. He emphasized that the US is committed to mediation in disputes and pursue peaceful solutions worldwide.

Acting US representative Ambassador Dorothy Shia said in an open debate on the subject of multilateralism and peaceful solution of controversies held under the chairmanship of Pakistan at the United Nations Security Council (UNSC), “America continues to work to find peaceful solutions as far as possible, as far as possible, with the parties involved in disputes worldwide.”

In a council meeting chaired by Pakistan Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Dorothy Shia said that in the last three months, the US leadership has succeeded in reducing tension between Israel and Iran, between Congo and Rwanda and between India and Pakistan.

India’s permanent representative Ambassador to the United Nations, Parvatnani Harish, in his statement at the United Nations Security Council Chamber spoke about the Pahalgam terrorist attack. Pakistan’s terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba’s mask organization The Resistance Front has taken responsibility for this attack. Pahalgam 26 people were killed in a terrorist attack, most of which were tourists.
