A video of a young couple romancing while riding a motorcycle has gone viral. They allegedly filmed the entire act which took place on the Aramghar flyover in Hyderabad. The clip of the incident, which was shared on social media, has triggered public outrage. Many also raised concern over road safety in and around the city.
In the video, the duo could be seen engaging in a ‘filmy-style’ romance with the woman sitting on the bike’s tank. She faced backwards and hugged the young man on the moving bike. The woman hugged her lover in a way that her face could not be seen. The footage was apparently taken by a fellow citizen who was travelling behind the couple.
“A young couple was seen doing filmy style romance and stunt by making his girlfriend sit on the bike tank and hugging him on a moving bike on the Aramghar flyover for a reel. The indecent behaviour of the couple, goes viral. The reckless act not only endangered their lives but a threat to others on the road,” the caption of the video posted on Instagram read.
Social media reacted strongly against the act with one user saying, “2435 challan bhi gira bhai ku dangerous driving.”
This is not the first time a couple has engaged in such a stunt. Just last month, a clip of a man and woman performing a dangerous stunt on a motorcycle along the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway surfaced on social media. According to PTI, this prompted the local traffic police to slap a fine of Rs 55,000 for flouting road safety norms.
Captured on June 15, the footage showed the woman sitting on the fuel tank of the motorcycle and hugging the man who was riding it. No wonder the video sparked outrage among people.
