The combined results of both research are: people use long words while apologizing and see long words as more forgiveness. But apologies that use unusual words do not have the same effect. In other words, people express their regrets with such apologies that are difficult for them to say or write, but for those who are being said, it is not difficult to understand.

My research shows how we express messages not only through the meaning of the words we use but also through the form of words. Research also shows how the form of a word (in this case, its length) can express the meaning according to the context. That is, words & lsquo; character & rsquo; It does not normally have an apology meaning, but in terms of pardon, its length is a symbol of attempt and it can be interpreted as more repentance.
