Pop star Katy Perry, with five other women, has safely returned to Earth after making a space trip aboard Jeff Bezos’s Blue Origin rocket. She was also joined by Bezos’ fiancée, Lauren Sanchez, as the all-women crew roared to the edge of the cosmos, launching more than 60 miles above the Earth’s surface. The flight took off from western Texas shortly after 8:30 AM before making a safe landing again about 10 minutes later.
“It’s a 10 out of 10. That’s my review. Definitely go for it. I think this experience has shown me you never know how much love is inside of you, like how much love you have to give and how loved you are until the day you launch,” the singer said after returning to Earth.
Perry was also seen kissing the ground after exiting the capsule.

“I’ve covered that song in the past. Obviously, my higher self is steering the ship. I had no clue I’d one day decide to sing a little bit of that in space. It’s not about me. It’s not about singing my songs. It’s about a collective energy and making space for future women,” Perry said, as per Variety.
Among others on the trip were civil rights advocate Amanda Nguyen, film producer Kerianne Flynn, and entrepreneur and former NASA rocket scientist Aisha Bowe.
