
Recently, the Central Government had given the green signal to the 8th Pay Commission, which returned to the face of millions of central employees and pensioners. Peons working in departments like PWD, multi-tasking staff and attendant are considered as employees of Level-1. Their current basic salary is 18,000 per month. If the fitment factor of 2.86 is fixed in the 8th Pay Commission, then the salary of such employees can increase to about 51,480.

All the employees from peon to clerk and constable are now calculating their salary as to what good news will bring for them the 8th Pay Commission. Especially those employees who were still working at low salary, are expected to get great relief this time.
How long can the new pay commission be implemented?
It is estimated that the 8th Pay Commission can be implemented from the year 2026, so that it is considered effective from 1 January 2026. Earlier, the appointment of the committee, recommendations and report preparation will be completed.
