After which the police took out the details of the registration number of the bike with the help of CCTV and through that the police started getting clues one after the other.
In this connection, when the police investigation progressed, the owner of the bike was traced through which the police came to know about the accused.
When the police started scanning the CCTV footage after the incident, it was found that the attacker had entered Saif Ali Khan’s house at 1:33 pm on 16 December and had come out at 2:33 am.
After this, the attacker was seen near Bandra station at 7.05 am, then from there he reached Dadar station, from there he was seen buying headphones from a mobile shop in Kabutar Khana area at around 9.05 am and then from there he went to Worli where he Had breakfast at a food stall at 10.33 am and then paid for it through Google Pay.
Police sources said that the police extracted the transaction details of the attacker through Google Pay and then the police tracked the accused to a location near Jahan Jhadian near Hiranandani area of Thane area and around 2:00 in the night the attacker was arrested. Was arrested.
Sources said that the attacker used to work in a designated club in Worli till November last year and also lived somewhere nearby. The attacker worked as a helping staff or cleaning staff in the club. An officer said that the contractor who had hired the accused also did not verify the accused properly.
