Everyone strives to earn as much as possible to buy a beautiful, luxurious home where they can enjoy a comfortable life. While many dream of owning small or large houses, in Britain, a property has been sold based solely on its location, and it’s so tiny that walking inside it is a challenge.
Imagine being asked to pay Rs 2.5 crore for a house only three feet wide. This is exactly what’s happening in Britain, where a house is up for sale and people are lining up to buy it.
According to The Suna property in Porthleven, Cornwall, is being sold, and calling it a “dollhouse” would be an understatement. It appears to be squeezed between two larger houses on a narrow lane.
This peculiar house, listed by real estate agent Tom Reed of Mather Partnership, has a total area of 339 square feet. It’s priced at £235,000 (roughly Rs 2.57 crore). Despite its minuscule size, the high price tag is largely due to its stunning views.
The house includes a kitchen, dining area, shower room, bedroom, and living room. It’s described as charming and ideal for modern living. The location, close to a beach and a lively market, further adds to its appeal, which is why so many people are eager to buy.
However, there’s a significant downside. The agent selling the house admits that there isn’t enough room in this property for a family of four. That means the house is impractical for larger families.
The price was around Rs 2.74 crore in 2017 but has been slightly reduced. Due to its unusual design, the house has earned the nickname ‘Box and Heater’.
