Kheal Das Kohistani Pakistan: A Hindu minister was attacked in Pakistan. Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s government, Khel Das Kohistani, was attacked by a mob. They were passing with the convoy. The protesters here were protesting against an irrigation project of the government. Among the protesters, potatoes and tomatoes were thrown at Kohistani convoy. Although they are completely safe.

According to a news of ‘India Today’, Khel Das Kohstani was passing through Thaatta on Saturday. At the same time, his convoy was attacked by a mob. Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has condemned the attack. He has also assured to investigate this. Kohistan is a member of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz. The protesters shouted slogans against the party’s central government. Union Information Minister Atta Tarar has called the incident an attack. Along with this, the government has ordered its high level inquiry.

Sindh Chief Minister ordered an inquiry into the attack –

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah strongly condemned the attack and said that no person can take the law in this way. He has ordered Inspector General of Police of Hyderabad region Ghulam Nabi Menon to arrest the attackers as soon as possible and also submit reports of the incident.

Protest against the canal project of Pak government –

The Government of Pakistan has announced a special project related to the canal. But many parties and nationalist groups are opposing it. The government will build six canals of Punjab province in the Cholistan region under Green Pakistan initiative. This project has been supported by the Central Government as well as the Army. For this reason, work will start soon on this. But opposition has started. The protesters believe that this will reduce the flow of water and will affect irrigation.
