1506 students registered in the first phase of IIT BHU placement. Of these, 1010 students have received job offers in various companies. This placement drive started in IIT BHU from 30th November, which continued till 12th December. Students of B.Tech, M.Tech and IDD of IIT BHU participated in it. Now the second phase of placement will start from January 2025, in which remaining students can participate.
1010 students got job offers from 289 companies
According to the information received by ABP Live from IIT BHU, a total of 1010 students got jobs in 289 renowned companies in the IIT BHU placements which started from November 30 to December 12. A total of 1506 students had registered for the placement drive. In the placement first phase of IIT BHU, the maximum package seen is Rs 1.65 crore and the minimum is Rs 10 lakh annually. In this, 399 students were offered jobs in 87 renowned companies. These companies include Google, Amazon, Bajaj, American Express, Microsoft, Oracle, Sprinklr, Jaguar, Land Rover, Tata Steel etc.
Faces of students lit up after placement
The way students remain worried about the results after studies. At the same time, especially in the present times, there is additional pressure on students to get a good job after professional degree. In such a situation, the students looked very happy after getting job security while studying in IIT BHU. Junior students had prepared a war room for their seniors in Satish Dhawan Hostel itself, through which companies contacted students online for placement. Now the second phase of placement will start from the first week of January and will continue till April 30, 2025. In this, companies related to both public and private sector will provide job opportunities to the students.
