According to a report by the New York Posta 20-year-old mother named Jess from the UK endured hours of labour pain during the nine-month wait for her child. But when her baby was finally born, Jess’s reaction was unexpected. Upon seeing her newborn’s face, she almost refused to accept the child as her own, finding the baby’s nose and overall appearance unattractive.
Jess shared a video of her reaction on social media, which has since garnered millions of views. In the video, her initial response upon seeing her baby was, “His nose is so ugly. He is so ugly.”
Overwhelmed and in shock, Jess started crying, struggling to accept her baby’s appearance. However, a few hours later, she began to find her baby cute.
The video sparked a wave of comments on social media. Some users criticised Jess, with one saying, “You are the child’s first bully,” while another commented, “This is really very cruel.” Another user remarked, “Imagine if the child comes to know that you made fun of him just after birth, poor thing.”
