Daya Shankar Pandey On Struggling Days: Actor Daya Shankar Pandey has been seen playing the role of current Pandey in TV’s popular show ‘Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma’ for a long time. Talking on Friday Talkies YouTube channel, Daya Shankar Pandey recently recalled her struggle days. During this, he told that in those days the film alone got a job in Tum. But Aamir Khan felt that he did better than this and he had packed him.

Daya Shankar Pandey said- ‘I did not have work. I was struggling with the crisis of money. My family refused to support me and I thought I will earn money myself. I told the Assistant Director (AD) of the film alone Hum Alone Tum to give me any appropriate role and so they got me 12 days work in that film and I was getting 2000 rupees everyday.

Daya said- ‘I did not want to hear this praise because I wanted to go by doing my everyday work. Then Aamir Khan seemed to be a villain. They packed my pack-up. The actor further told that later Aamir Khan cast him in Lagaan and also recommended him for a role in slave.
