Haritaki is beneficial for health
In Charak Samhita, it has been described as a trinity. According to the medical book, the powder is prepared by drying Haritaki flowers. Consumption of powder provides relief from problems like mouth blisters, cough and sore throat. If you are troubled by falling hair, then mix Haritaki powder with amla and ritha and boil it in water, filter and wash hair with this water. This will also reduce hair loss and keep the hair strong.
Haritaki helps in removing toxins from the body and promoting metabolism, which helps in weight management. However, it should not be consumed without any medical advice.
