After the surge of Studio Ghibli-themed artworks, social media users have been using ChatGPT 4o to generate different style variations.

Studio Ghibli-inspired artworks are taking over the Internet. The due credit goes to ChatGPT 4o. Social media users have been using this AI chatbot to generate images based on the unique Japanese-style animation, pioneered by renowned artist Hayao Miyazaki. We hope by now you have created umpteen variations of your favourite pictures. But it’s time to take this feature a level higher. Do you know it’s possible to generate illustrations mimicking popular animated sitcoms like The Simpsons and The Muppets alongside a myriad of other edit variations? At present, X (formerly Twitter) is overflowing with these creations.
Here is a Muppet-themed photo of former US Presidents Donald Trump and George W Bush having a discussion with conservative political commentator Sean Hannity. Do take note of their expressions.
You cannot miss out on this one, featuring global leaders Adolf Hitler (Leader of Nazi Germany), Joseph Stalin (Leader of the Soviet Union), Mao Zedong (Chairman of the Communist Party) and Hideki Tojo (Prime Minister of Japan during World War II).
Watched the 1994 film Pulp Fiction? Then you would recognise the Muppet version of this image involving actors Jules Winnfield and Vincent Vega. Instead of pointing guns, as depicted in the film, the AI one showed the two holding bananas. Absolutely hilarious, if you ask us.
Napoleon Bonaparte, the French military leader, who rose to power during the French Revolution found a place in the reimagined Muppet version as well. In the illustration, he rides a funny-looking horse.
An X-user dropped multiple animated styles using ChatGPT 4o on the micro-blogging platform. He uploaded a family photo on the AI chatbot, allowing it to do its magic. Sharing the details in his side note, he wrote, “Blown away by ChatGPT’s image creation tool. I uploaded a photo of my family and then asked for variations, including Anime, Pixar-style, Victorian royalty and Picasso-esque.”

Some other variations were street side, the now-viral Studio Ghibli, Star Wars representations and paper sketches.
The user also produced a The Simpsons-inspired design and another on the lines of the popular video game The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
Studio Ghibli, a Japanese animation studio, has gained global popularity owing to its visually magnificent and emotionally rich films like Spirited Away, My Neighbor Totoro, and Howl’s Moving Castle. Their magical storylines and fantastical worlds enjoy a mass appeal.
