After enduring two years of harassment by a man from Uttar Pradesh, a woman from Gurugram stated that his actions have taken a serious toll on her mental and physical health.

A woman from Gurugram has accused a man from Uttar Pradesh of harassing her for two years. Gunisha Sahni alleged that Harshit Gupta not only sent her “inappropriate and explicit messages” but also reached out to her employer, falsely accusing her of sexual harassment.
After enduring relentless harassment, she has now filed a cybercrime complaint against him. She also expressed that his actions have taken a toll on her physical and mental well-being, warning that if she were to take any extreme step, he would be responsible.
“Harshit Gupta a fellow alumnus of Bennett University, has been relentlessly harassing me since 2023. He has sent me inappropriate and explicit messages without consent, attempted to tarnish my reputation by spreading false accusations, and most recently, contacted and now harassing my employer with baseless claims about me of sexual harassment,” Sahni wrote on LinkedIn.

She added, “I have ignored his actions for far too long, but this has now escalated beyond online harassment—it is directly affecting my mental health and physical well-being. I have officially filed a cybercrime complaint against him and will be taking stricter legal action to ensure this does not continue.
In a detailed LinkedIn post, Sahni claimed that she is not the only one facing harassment from Gupta. She further alleged that he has a pattern of contacting people’s employers with false accusations.
“If any adverse steps are taken on my part, it is solely due to the relentless harassment I have endured at the hands of Harshit Gupta. I will not allow my career, reputation, and well-being to be destroyed by lies and malicious intent,” the woman asserted.
She urged people to report his profile if he contacts them with accusations against her or anyone else.

“I am grateful for the support of those who have stood by me through this ordeal. This kind of behaviour should never be tolerated. Being forced to defend yourself against blatant falsehoods is both exhausting and unfair. No one should have to endure this,” Sahni concluded.
Sahni even shared a screenshot of the messages Gupta sent her on LinkedIn. On May 18, he asked for her number, and when she didn’t respond, he messaged again two days later: “Woh actually escorts ka mangna padhta hai (Actually, one has to request escorts’s number)” and followed up with, “Koi ladka pata paai? (Were you able to find a guy?)”
On May 20, He Sent Another Message, Stating, “Pata Hai Escort Kabhi Mat Baniyo, Gareeb Reh Jaayegi. Kyunki Teri Shakal Ko Koi clientg nahi milega. :
Gupta went a step further by publicly accusing Sahni of sexual harassment in a LinkedIn post. He wrote, “I have something to share—Gunisha S, a student of Bennett University, has been sexually harassing me for years. I brought this to the attention of Anirban Sengupta, founder of Nirvana Digital, yet no action has been taken on his part. I want Gunisha to respond to me publicly.” His post went up just a few hours ago.
Sahni also shared a screenshot of Gupta’s conversation with her employer on LinkedIn. In his message to Anirban Sengupta, Gupta alleged, “She has sexually harassed multiple people in the past from college. Please ask her to resign.”
In response, Sengupta stated, “I appreciate you reaching out. This matter pertains to events before Sahni joined our company, and we are not in a position to verify or intervene. If there are any workplace-related concerns, we encourage addressing them through the appropriate legal channels. Thanks for understanding.”
