Golden opportunity for admission in 11th in Navodaya Vidyalaya, apply by 10 August

If you dream of studying in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) and this time you have passed 10th grade with good marks, then there is a great news for you. Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti has started the application process for admission in 11th grade in academic session 2025-26.

This opportunity is being given to fill the vacant seats in Navodaya schools across the country. The committee has clarified that qualified students can apply online or offline through any means. The last date for submission of application has been fixed on 10 August 2025.

Who can apply?

The date of birth should be between 1 June 2008 to 31 July 2010 (both days included). The student has passed 10th pass with a recognized school (CBSE or State Board affiliated) in the same district in the session 2024-25, where JNV is located. The student may have got at least 60% marks (first class) in 10th.

If the student wants to choose science stream, then 60% or more marks are necessary in science subject. For those choosing mathematics subjects, it is necessary to have 60% or more marks in mathematics in 10th.

Nomination basis

There will be no entrance examination in this admission process. Students will be enrolled on the basis of 10th standard marks. That is, it will be a completely merit -based admission process.

Download the form from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya’s official site www.navodaya.gov.in. After filling the form, it can be duly filled and can be deposited on the email ID of the concerned JNV or by going to the school in physical form.
