Yuvraj Singh and his wife Hazel Keech hold great respect for Sachin Tendulkar. Be it in interviews or on social media posts, the couple has often expressed their admiration for the legendary Indian batter. Hazel, in one of her recent Instagram Stories, shed light on the “adorable side” of Sachin. The Little Master, who has been a nightmare for any bowler in the world, is completely a different person when around kids. Yuvraj and Sachin recently reunited to represent India Masters in the inaugural edition of the International Masters League T20 on home soil.
With Sachin leading from the front, the hosts beat the West Indies Masters to secure the title. After the IML T20 final was wrapped up in Raipur, Tendulkar was spotted playing with Yuvraj’s two kids, Orion and Aura, with a tennis ball.
The cute moment was supposedly captured by a fan who dropped it as a reel on Instagram with the title– “The adorable side of Sachin Tendulkar.” Hazel later reshared the post on her IG story. In the clip, Sachin tries to catch the ball, thrown by Orion but ends up missing it.
The India Masters captain then playfully tosses the ball away as Orion, along with his sister Aura, goes on to chase it. Many fans were left overwhelmed after watching the heart-melting gesture by Sachin. One of them simply noted, “God of Cricket for a reason.” Another viewer branded Sachin as a “humble person”.
While Sachin struck 181 runs in the IML T20, Yuvraj also emerged as a key member of the India Masters. The former India all-rounder scored 179 runs in six matches at a superb strike rate of 184.54. After ending the campaign as the champions, Yuvraj dedicated the victory to Sachin.
“For me, it was just a celebration of Sachin Tendulkar. The Masters League is about the great master. The first little master was Sunil Gavaskar. Then it was Sachin Tendulkar. I think both the little masters were there and the tournament went well. We won, we were very professional about our game and our preparation and the best team won,” Yuvraj told the news agency ANI.
Sachin and Yuvraj were both part of the Indian team that won the ICC ODI World Cup 2011 under the captaincy of MS Dhoni. Yuvraj finished as the tournament’s best player. The southpaw scored 362 runs with the bat and picked 15 wickets as well.
