The man, reportedly intoxicated, not only hurled abuses at a security guard but also physically assaulted him at a residential society in Ghaziabad.

A disturbing video of a man assaulting a security guard at a residential society in Ghaziabad has gone viral on social media and has been leaving people furious. The video shows the man, who is reportedly in an inebriated state, continuously slapping the guard as he cries for help. Another man who was present there didn’t budge for several seconds before the assault ends when an elderly man intervenes.
The police have since filed an FIR against the man and legal proceedings are underway.
The video opens to show the guard standing inside his cabin talking to another man standing outside. As the video goes, another man sitting inside the cabin, who was reportedly drunk, hurling abuses at the guard. When the guard asks him to behave, the intoxicated man stands up and begins slapping him. The assault continues as the guard tries to flee, but the man resumes the attack outside the cabin. The violence only ends when an elderly man arrives at the scene.

“An FIR has been registered at Indirapuram police station in connection with the aforementioned case. The accused have been arrested and presented before the Hon’ble Court. Further legal proceedings are underway,” the police said.

In a separate incident in September, a journalist in Uttar Pradesh was slapped by a police officer after questioning him about not wearing a name badge. The video opens to show the journalist asking a cop for the name badge. As the video goes on, the journalist presses further, asking, “Why aren’t you wearing a nameplate? How are we supposed to trust you like this?”
The camera then shifts to another cop who points towards his name badge. The journalist again demands an explanation for the missing name badge from the cop and asks for an explanation. At this point, another cop loses his temper, slaps the journalist, and begins hurling abuses at him.
