The former off-spin bowler revealed the moment he saw Geeta Basra for the first time. Harbhajan Singh first saw her on the poster of the 2007 crime thriller “The Train”, co-starring Emraan Hashmi. The former cricketer saw the poster while boarding the Shatabdi Express. He decided that he would like to know more about them. Harbhajan Singh later contacted fellow cricketer Yuvraj Singh and asked if he could introduce him to Geeta Basra. Yuvraj Singh played the role of a good friend and with his help both of them got to know each other.
After dating for some time, Harbhajan Singh and Geeta Basra finally got married in October 2015.
Geeta Basra worked in Bollywood in the films “Dil Diya Hai”, “Zilla Ghaziabad”, “Mr. Joe B. Carvalho”, “Second Hand Husband” and “Lock”. The actress has been away from films since her marriage.
Earlier, the couple had also appeared in “The Kapil Sharma Show” with Navjot Singh Sidhu and his wife Navjot Kaur Sidhu.
