Gautam Adani has a plan to bring IPO of airport unit by 2027, plan to raise so much money

Adani Airports IPO: Gautam Adani, the second richest person and well-known industrialist in the country, are planning to bring IPO. According to a new report by Bloomberg, Adani Group is preparing to bring an IPO for its airport unit by 2027. The amount raised from this will be used to invest in various businesses in the coming years. The company has taken the decision to bring the IPO under its Capital Expenditure Plan of $ 100 billion. Through this IPO, equity of about $ 1 billion can be collected from investors.

Bloomberg’s report has also revealed that Adani Airport Holdings, the largest airport operator in private sector in India, is expected to be demarge by March 2027 and the stock market. At present, Adani Enterprises owns the Adani Airport Holdings. This company currently operates eight airports in the country. The company’s plan is to open a new terminal on the outskirts of Mumbai in the next few months.

Company is increasing capital expenditure

The Adani Group plans to spend $ 100 billion in the next five to six years. Under this, the segment of energy, logistics and infrastructure will be strengthened and their scope will be increased. For this, the company is preparing to raise maximum capital.

In 2023, the company’s shares declined after allegations of fraud on the Adani Group of Hindonburg Research. Apart from this, in November last year, the US Justice Department accused Gautam Adani and his nephew of bribery. This also led to a significant decline in the price of Shares of Adani Group. However, in both these cases, the Adani Group denied the allegations leveled against them.

Gautam Adani visited China

Gautam Adani went on a tour of China last week to meet industrial equipment and solar module manufacturers. This was his first foreign trip after facing allegations of bribery in America. Actually, Adani Group is building a solar park in Gujarat and China is the largest exporter of solar modules and solar cells. The purpose of this visit to Adani was to strengthen the trade relations between the two countries.
